With 5.1.90 pre-release on Windows 11, I no longer see USB hard drives listed in the list of devices that FMW can write into. With 5.1.3, I do see them. Tested with two different USB hard-drives, HDD and SSD. Both are regular drives that I placed into an USB enclosure, I don't know if it makes any difference. Either way, FMW used to support them before.
I might have a guess where the problem stems from. When I open Disk Management in Windows (through right click on the Windows/Start button), the USB drive is marked as "Basic" instead of "Removable". (Thumb drives are marked as Removable, for comparison). But at the same time, I still see a "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" icon in the systray (bottom right corner), and if I click on it, I see "Eject $DRIVENAME" in the menu. So on one hand, Windows claims the drive is not removable, but on the other hand, it allows the user to remove it. Feel a bit schizophrenic.
So I don't know how FMW listed the drives in 5.1.3, but it looks like this is a regression.
