Not sure where to check. Using Non-MPE MIDI-Controller. To reproduce: 1. use Patch "NylonSteel" in both cases; 2. Load VST2 into DAW - no Pitchbend Response; 3. Load VST3 into DAW: Ptchbend works.

Live seems to enable MPE automatically even if your controller isn't MPE.

Either:

In Live, right click on device titlebar, uncheck 'Enable MPE Mode'
In Wavetable, go to hamburger menu (upper left) and enable MPE

Either way, MPE mode must match between Wavetable & Live.

Confirmed., and learned something. Thank you. The question remains, why does Ableton activate MPE by default in wavetable VST2 and deactivate it in VST3? Case closed.
