This game is notorious for having the copy - anti tamper protection, resulting in random black, ensuing loading screen hangs, gameplay hangs, especially after the completing the first training mission in the parking lot. Will Wiiflow have patches to fix this issue? I did try USBLGX as it was supposed to have been fixed in 3.0 r1280 but trying the latest r12801 it was still freezing on a black screen after completing the training mission at the start. It would be nice to have the fix with Wiiflow, as it's my loader of choice now...Thanks:)

If you run a metafortress protected game through a loader you MUST disable ALL memory patches in order for it to run.

While WFL patches Kirby's Return to Dreamland, it does not for others. You may provide the necessary patches and they will be included.

Same for USBLGX - it does patch KRDL, not metafortress in general.

I had to play this game physical, it was the only way I could get through it. Worth it!

I tried all that were possible in the loader turning off everything and spent two nights trying all kinds to get it to not hang on a black screen after the tutorial mission.

It’s looking that way, as it’s been a PIA:) The option of using Dolphin emulator is there but prefer original hardware.

From the Dolphin Wiki:

In the past Dolphin struggled to get some of these games to boot, but they should all be fine now.

Dolphin's commit history might give a clue as to how they solved this.
