This is probably a FreeRDP issue, but I'll file it here to be sure:

When hovering over text, the cursor doesn't show a caret, it shows a normal arrow.
When hovering overe the edge of a window, the cursor doesn't indicate that the window can be resized and shows the normal arrow instead.
When loading, the cursor doesn't show any loading indicator

Same here. Arch Linux 5.9.14-zen1-1-zen xfreerdp 2.2.0 KDE 5.20.4

I had the same problem.

As you might guess, it seems to be a FreeRDP issue.

Even with Linux mint, xfreerdp was 2.2.0 at first, but it has been improved by updating to 2.3.2. https://github.com/MysticRyuujin/guac-install/issues/178#issuecomment-846771382

However, I'm using nightly 3.0 now because I had a clipboard issue in 2.3.2.

xfreerdp --version This is FreeRDP version 3.0.0-dev (670cf8512)

Somehow fixed. Not sure how but it is now working.
