Explore how FoodOn could support food security analysis #264
It would be an interesting topic for a student to do an analysis of the principles of food security with respect to FoodOn’s mandate, looking for ways FoodOn, CDNO, ENVO etc. could support food security analysis directly or indirectly. The upcoming UN FAO paper would be one policy outline to review: https://assets.fsnforum.fao.org/public/resources/2022-11/V0%20HLPE%20for%20econsultation.pdf
Specifically,
“The report adopts the definition of food security, proposed by the HLPE-FSN in 2020, which includes six dimensions of food security: availability, access, utilization, stability, agency and sustainability.”
