1 week ago Update: key comes up as "unknown" in Love native. In Firefox it doesn't show at all and doesn't do anything. In Chrome it works, but needs to be pressed twice every time to do something, so not a great solution. Tab doesn't feel like a good key to use as it's normally for moving on on a web page. 1 could work I guess, but not ideal.
Seems slightly bizarre, but my reasoning is that on desktop I'm super used to pressing escape to go back and it messes up my muscle memory a lot that it isn't on web (I don't think you can override it because it's linked to browser exit fullscreen, and even if you somehow could would not be a sensible idea). The ` key is right next to escape so would be easier to use than backspace which I have yet to get used to/is too far away.
