A gas pump. For indicating fuel or something to do with a vehicle. gas

Could this be considered as a duplicate of #1676 ?

If not, please edit the title indicating what does the icon exactly represent (the concrete object)

well I would say that the name should fuel instead of gas though, as it's not a gas, and in case some physics icon later we might wanna have an icon for gases from the physical standpoint.

Fuel nozzle is the correct name for this piece.

Nozzles are attached to the pump with flexible hoses, so they can reach the vehicle's filler inlet. The hoses are robust to survive heavy wear and tear, including exposure to weather and being driven over, and are often attached using heavy spring or coil arrangements to provide additional strength. A breakaway valve is also fitted to the hose so that the nozzle and hose will detach and fuel flow stop if a motorist drives off with the nozzle still in the filler. (more info)

This is a quick update to let folks know that we’re refining our icon request workflow behind the scenes, and as part of that we’re going through all open requests and filing them into several new buckets to be addressed.

In this case we’ve added this issue to our new list to be created! We can’t promise any firm timelines right now, but this will help us keep track of it.

We’ll update this issue when the icon is released into the wild 🙂
