Breaking Slope in survival causes game Crash (1.20.1) #82

i am about to build a race track and ive noticed that when breaking a Slope with any tool or bare hand it causes a game crash exit code: -1 The game crashed whilst tesselating block model Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "net.minecraft.client.renderer.texture.TextureAtlasSprite.m118409()" because "sprite" is null

Same issue, breaking slopes cause instant client crash on any client. 1.20.6 Forge
