I've already implemented a way to use HID commands to reset into the bootloader. Might be a good idea to disable for production images but is very helpful during debugging - allows to reflash without re-plugging while holding the reset button.
Investigate HF2: https://github.com/microsoft/uf2/blob/master/hf2.md Does the RP2040 support that natively? Would it make sense for QMK to implement?
Perhaps add a key mapping to reset into bootloader.
