I am experiencing this issue quite often. So far, I was never able to figure out which feed or article caused the problem. The only solution I found to get Flym working again, was to:
Once the offending article has been deleted from the feed, you might be able to enable full-text retrieval again, but I am not sure.
A couple of days ago, it happened again and I went through the above procedure. Then I went through all articles manually (there were a lot) and loaded the full text in Flym. AFAICS the feed that broke it, is https://www.phoronix.com/rss.php and the article that breaks full-text retrieval is http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=GCC-PGO-Benchmarks-5950X
BTW the logcat is empty....
It would be nice if someone could look into this issue soon, because the feed only contains articles from the last couple of days and once the article is gone, it might not be possible to reproduce the issue until another such article pops up.
I also noticed that my phone is getting quite hot and the battery is drained very quickly. It checked the CPU utilization via ADB (superuser, htop
).
Flym uses 200% CPU (2 full cores).

When opening Flym, the loading bar at the top does not disappear. Also, from one entry (article) onward (as far as I can see), no full texts are loaded.
It seems as if one entry prevents the other feeds from loading correctly.
Disabling the setting "Load images in advance" did not help (I use the German version, so this may not be translated correctly)
