Multicast blocked by VPN #335

Hi I have just upgraded to FTS 1.9.8 and it seems that everything is working correctly, except I can't seem to send attachment to multiple people and unable to create groupchats.

It seems that it might be my VPN blocking the multicast but I have no way to enable it in my VPN.

Was wondering if multicast can be turned off via FTS so all information will be routed through the server instead of multicasting.

the current version of FTS is 1.9.9, not sure why you installed 1.9.8 in any cases past versions had issues with sending group chat, this has nothing to do with 'multicast' that is a completely different thing.

I had installed the 1.9.8 version previously and have not updated it since. Was there an issue with groupchat on the 1.9.8 version?

Please update to 1.9.9 and let us know if the problem persist
