Hi, I've recently been trying to migrate to linux and being able to run steam games on wayland natively (without xwayland since it really does not work well on nvidia right now) is crucial for a good experience.

I've used protonup to install proton_tkg_9.0rc4.r0.g2f3062bc "Proton Tkg (Wine Master)" which seems to be a build of this repo against the latest (at this current moment) wine 9.0 release candidate.

I've done that and used protontricks to regedit the Graphics key to x11,wayland to enable the native wayland driver, and set the launch arguments in steam to DISPLAY= %command%.

The game I'm launching (Resonite for context) starts just fine, runs smooth, but the mouse doesn't move unless I click a mouse button, and again when I release a mouse button. The keyboard also seems to be nonfunctional too.

I'm running gnome on endeavorOS. I'm still relatively new to gaming on linux, and especially doing stuff like this so I apologize for not providing logs, but I honestly don't know where I'd even get useful info for this kind of thing, or how to diagnose mouse issues like this since 9.0 wayland is so new.

I will provide whatever information I can to fix this, as the possibility of playing steam games on wayland is an extreme interest.

It's apparently an upstream issue with the wayland driver, and possibly fixed with Wine 9.2.
