Hi!
Sorry, I confused your device with 500gp.
Try to use the last firmware for wl500gx http://asus.vectormm.net/wl/3028/
You need to switch your modem into modem-mode either by an appropriate
AT-commands or by usb_modeswitch in the firmware. In last case please place the
following code into the file /usr/local/etc/usb_modeswitch.conf and select a
"Zero CD Configuration" as "Config at /usr/local/etc/usb_modeswitch.conf" (see
http://my.router/Advanced_ConnectionMode_Content.asp ).

Don`t forget to enable flashfs by 'flashfs enable' command and after the file
writing 'flashfs save && flashfs commit'.
After saving and rebooting you need to find correct numbers of data and user
interface ports.

Try to repeat the firmware uploading by using tftp-command.
See "OEM installation using the TFTP method"

Hi! DDWRT changes parameters for boot loader. If you could not update firmware
by tftp it is high-probably that a special JTAG programmer is required....
