Add link to API docs on main website #212

People who come to the website cannot easily find information about our API.

I think that, at the least, a link to the API in the main menus would be great. Having a dedicated page in the website docs is also nice, but a plain link would do for now.

I will do this in 2 phases.

  1. The link, as you suggest, will be done today, but not distributed until production sites are ready again. I won't close this until the update is distributed.
  2. I have doc improvements added to my plans. As time allows, I aim to improve the existing doc, and add new endpoints we added that do not require json.
