Extreme Artifacting #135

Hi,

I just switched back to an AMD gpu, and hit the HEVC roadblock with VD... I figured I would give ReLive a try but I cannot get it dialled in at all.

I have a 6750xt and 3700x so PC isnt the bottleneck here, and its connected to a NETGEAR RAX20 in 5ghz mode with the 5ghz being used exclusively by the quest.

Basically, the image is stable, and then breaks into many multi colored blocks, and focuses again, just to break, resulting in unplayable artifacts (think of a corrupted DVD)

I have spent lots of time trying every setting on relive, and eventually I ended up with settings that worked using h264, but the latency was terrible and I ended up going back to ALVR, as its the only way I can get a playable VR experience on AMD GPUs... Any help would be greatly appreciated, as its more than likely user error somewhere along the way, and I would love to experience the performance lift I expected when moving from a GTX 1080

I've added the log I've seen requested before, I can try and get a capture of the visual artifacts on request

@krishal99 - it looks like your network is an issue. I'd suggest to try the following:

Please let me know if you need guidance on how to change these parameters. It's all in the settings.json file located in %LOCALAPPDATA%\AMD\OpenVR\settings\

Same issue here and no such issue on VD. Network is fine. Is this project abandoned?
