Relive just stop working in oculus quest #69

Hi. I just don't know what's happens. From a moment to other, the relive apk didn't work anymore. I don't remember had done anything different, like to do an update of Radeon software or steamvr. Please help. Thanx.

@iliannhy - could you please provide more details of what is not working? You cannot connect at all?

Please attach a log located at c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs\AMDWirelessVR.log

Can you ping your headset from the PC? Can you access the Internet from the headset?

Yes, I can't connect at all. First I start SteamVR, then the relive apk in the Quest, and then the Quest displays the icon of connecting and nothing happens. I' didn't had this problem before. I can access to internet with Quest without problem. Here is the log:

@iliannhy - from the log I see that connection requests from the headset do not reach the PC. So the problem is with your network/firewall on the PC. Have you tried following the steps outlined here? Specifically item #2 that talks about public vs private networks. I've seen Windows deciding to switch the network type to Public when something changes, like when you connect to a new router. By default, all incoming ports are blocked by the firewall for public networks. This would be the first thing I'd be looking for. You can follow these instructions for changing the network type.

Another observation - the timestamp in the log file is from July 27, but you sent the log on Aug 3, so I'm wondering if the log is showing the actual problem. Do you see the WiFi icon for the headset in SteamVR when you start it? Could you also attach the C:\Users\\AppData\Local\openvr\openvrpaths.vrpath file? (if you don't see the AppData folder, go to the View tab in Windows Explorer and check the Hidden items checkbox).

HI. I followed the instructions: I turn off the firewall, restart the pc, and nothing. Then I change the network type to private. Nothing. When I start SteamVR the WIFI icon starts, then it turns grey. I will attach both openvrpaths file and AMDWireless log, form today. Thanks.

I made it! This is what I do: In Radeon Soft, the Quest was not paired. I had tried to paired it before, but it didn't work, But now, I activated it both, Relive and Steamvr. Then I tried to synchronize the Quest with Radeon Soft, and It works! Thank you very much for your help and guidance. It's good to see that there is someone who really cares for this kind of problem. I've seen Windows deciding to switch the network type to Public when something changes, like when you connect to a new router. By default, all incoming ports are blocked by the firewall for public networks. This would be the first thing I'd be looking for. You can follow these instructions https://tinkertry.com/how-to-change-windows-10-network-type-from-public-to-private for changing the network type.

Another observation - the timestamp in the log file is from July 27, but you sent the log on Aug 3, so I'm wondering if the log is showing the actual problem. Do you see the WiFi icon for the headset in SteamVR when you start it? Could you also attach the C:\Users<your user name>\AppData\Local\openvr\openvrpaths.vrpath file? (if you don't see the AppData folder, go to the View tab in Windows Explorer and check the Hidden items checkbox).

@iliannhy - I was typing a response to you with the same finding, but you beat me to it :) Yes, you can either accept connections from all devices, or pair your headset by clicking on the "Link a Device" button in the Devices tab of Radeon Settings - this button appears only when Accept All Connections is set to Disabled. Once you enable device pairing, your PC will accept connections from paired headsets only. This is convenient when you have more than one PC and more than one headset on the same network - connections become deterministic.
