Thank you for pointing that out. We should have added further instructions on Java installation for Mac users. Since this inconvenience only occurs when Mac users first download the app, and it does not affect normal operations of the app after successfully installing it, we thought that this should be considered a low severity bug.

Reason for disagreement: I feel that though this does not "affect normal operations of the app after successfully installing it", Mac users aren't able to install the app in the first place.
For those who are not as well versed when it comes to reading error messages in the command prompt, they would not know how to resolve the issue and therefore would not be able to successfully install it once they have encountered this problem.
From my perspective, this means that majority of Mac users would not be able to use your app which should be at least a Medium severity.
I tried launching the app with the instructed Java 17 and was unable to launch the app.

Maybe a possible improvement would be to specify that Zulu is required for Mac users, just like in CS2103T
