Objective
Exporting some or all components of CSAF as an executable into other simulation environments, for example OpenAIGym.
Features need to be implemented:
- Auto wrapping multiple components inside an object and exposing
init(), step(), output(). This might be split into a two step process for generalization- (first step: manual) wrap multiple components into a meta-component. Map the input and output ports of the meta-component.
- export a component which can be execute using an auto generated interface of the form
init(), step(), output()
- Handle multiple sampling times. This is probably the hardest part, and can be addressed in two ways:
- (first step) ignoring and not supporting multi-rate data sampling
- replacing the global scheduler by a clock (component and associated msgs) and adding a clock divider and associated logic into each component, thereby paving the way for a distributed system.
If someone has a simpler idea, please!
