This, of course, creates the potential to reduce the privacy offered with zerocoins, so educational materials will be drafted through the Medium account to help users understand the power of zerocoin (so they will want to have it), and the risks of using zerocoin soon after minting.
Investigate the PIVX support for staking with zerocoins, to make sure that's provided as further incentive to use the feature.
Given the recent revelation regarding zerocoin library vulnerabilities; this direction is changed. We will continue to follow the developments and determine if we shall turn zerocoin on in the future to allow people to recover their zGMCN; and follow the development of alternative technologies.
At this time, zerocoins are not widely used, and even less understood. As such, we end up advising people on how to disable the automatic minting of zerocoins. This, inevitably, deters new users as they don't necessary know to disable it at the beginning, and therefore it is not a pleasant experience at the outset.
Instead, have the autominting off by default, however not disabled so that those that understand it can utilize it. This needs to be followed by better education of the coin users, so that they can decide if they wish to enable it, or leave it off.
