This should not happen, Borg is not designed that way. Provide more details, along with a screen shot, and file and course details.
This is a serious issue, please provide more details
Actually once the course content gets downloaded fully, the download for that particular course starts again and it occurs infinitely unless we stop it
Do you mean to say that it overwrites the previous files?
Send me more details, which course is this happening in? and what is you OS?
If this is happening in an edx non-mobile course, or a video with a super long name, a solution is on the way. In a few more days.
I think I just encountered this issue, working on the solution now.
Guys, any updates on this issue?
This issue keeps happening to me as well (using Borg 0.11.3 on Win7-64). My work-around at the moment is to hit "clear completed" once I notice my computer starts overheating...(thats when I know Borg is re-downloading the videos). Please provide a fix for this.
Sorry about the delays. Wait just a few days more, I had planned on releasing an update a long time back, but life has a way to upset plans :(
This happened for me. Course - "Algorithms toolbox" in coursera, overview file of 11 mb got download atleast 200 times before I stopped it.
Downloads for all material in the queue happen infinitely, overwriting the previous version of the file. This should be corrected, or Fair-usage on a broadband connection can be impacted.
