Can't add more than one image to a post in markdown mode. #1064

Publii Version : v.0.38.3 (build 14239) Theme: Simple (v.2.3.3.0) OS: Windows 10

Steps

  1. Create a new post in Markdown mode.
  2. Drag and drop first image in the post.
  3. Navigate to the post directory and observe that the image and it's responsive variants have been added.
  4. Add a SECOND image in the same fashion. DO NOT save the post.
  5. The new image should be visible in the post directory after the upload has completed.
  6. SAVE the post.
  7. Observer the newly added images disappear from the directory location.

Hi,

The problem appears when you did not add any content changes to the post after adding the image.

Today I have replaced SimpleMDE with EasyMDE markdown editor and it seems that this issue is gone, so in v.0.39 the problem should be resolved.

I don't remember if I added text in between adding the images. Is there an ETA on when 0.39 will be available? Do you take outside contributions? I really like this product and would love to contribute.

Hi,

v.0.39 will be released in the next week :)

Regarding contributions - we take them, but usually they require so much adjustments, that it becomes our own contributions ;)
