Capture of usage stats

I would like to capture the number of times the webpage is accessed and the number of people registered, and perhaps display that at the bottom of the home page.

Jim, once we have the stats available for interactions and data sources (see issue #78), I can incorporate the stats about website hits and the number of users into the same block on the home page.

That would be great. For those two stats I would maybe like them to be at the bottom of the home page.

For the stats about what is in the database, I would prefer to have those stats maybe near the top of the home page.
