Car icon on map. #9

Hi, I read in the mod forum post in the Factorio forums that the nixie tubes is constructed as a car with different angles to change the display. Someone said it has to be like this, but I cant help but wonder if that really is the case.

The SmartDisplay mod features a display which is Really nifty for displaying stuff. However far from as attractive as the nixie tubes. So maybe you should look into how he/she did it? It even displays the value on the map (user choice).

Kind regards. I'm using the nixie Tubes mod available from the ModManager in game. I dont know if you are the author of it or not, but anyway. (Experimental game version)

sorry for slow response, the mod was made many versions ago, and there may well be a better way now, but at the time I couldn't find a better way, nor could anyone I talked to on the forums. And believe me, I beat my head against it for a loooong time trying to find a way that didn't have a car icon on the map xD

I've not been playing factorio for a long time now, will probably be next year before I find time to do so again, and even then, this mod won't be my highest priority. I can easily live without it, unlike autowire.
