GovXS / Evaluating-Voting-Design-Tradeoffs-for-Retro-Funding

Measure how different Retro Funding voting designs perform against a number of requirements aimed at optimizing different objectives. Achieved by simulating different types of voter behavior and applying formal reasoning.

Verify if we can replace R3/R4 Voting Rule with generalized Normalized Median to play with max/min allocation caps and quorum #35

Description

In the metrics

we assume that a max./min. allocation cap has an impact on the result. We should examine further to understand how capping/quorum affects the result and if adding such elements can increase Robustness/Resistance to Bribery, etc. of Majoritarian Phantoms, too.

Goal

Replace R3/R4 voting rule in our simulations by a generalized Normalized Median to reduce time and efforts to simulate
