Support Elasticsearch IP data type out of the box #4425

Currently, the IP data type can be supported by setting custom mappings but it is not very intuitive. Can we make this as easy as possible?

This would be very good feature. Please keep in mind it should automatically support both v4 and v6. This should not be an issue for ElasticSearch, but has to be taken into account at Graylog's end.
