GSD Munich - Meetup Graphic & Speaker Template

@bryaki02 told me that you can help us with a meetup graphic & speaker template for our group.

Some background info: I am organizing a Green Software Meetup in Munich for over two years now. Until October 24, we had two meetup groups in Munich:

• Green Software Development Manifesto
  • founded and organized by me and some colleagues
  • created as a community around the Green Software Development Manifesto (https://www.greenmanifesto.de/en) that we initiated
  • hybrid events with a strong local community
• Green Software Munich
  • founded by GSF
  • almost only centrally managed remote-only events

We now merged these two groups with the new name Green Software Development Munich (https://www.meetup.com/de-DE/green-software-development-munich/) under the GSF the benefits of both sides:

• strong local community
• network & visibility via GSF

It would be great, if you can help improve our meetup graphic & speaker template. It should refle ct both origins of the group: The Green Software Development Manifesto (Image with tree growing from the chip, no need to stick with exactly this version. Maybe a stylized variant is nice here) and the GSF.

Would b great if you can help aus. Maybe let's start with the meetup graphic first.

Here is the image we use currently for the manifesto and the meetup group (we bought the rights to use it). Let me know if you need further information.

Hi @andreaswe, Thank you for such detailed info! I'm attaching the examples of meetup graphic & speaker templates I made for other groups This is GSF style I'll keep it for your visuals also. I'll include the stylized version of the tree growing from the chip

Please let me know when do you need both items ready and provide the info for speaker template, including the max number of speakers you might have

Hi @Jenya-design,

we are planning our next meetup for mid of January and we want to announce it soon. If we get group image until and speaker template until end of next week, we can probably use it directly for the next meetup. Otherwise, we will probably keep our old visuals and use your template for the meetup after.

Using a stylized version of the tree image and integrating it the GSF-Style sounds good.

Some additional information for the group image / speaker template:

• Group Name
  • Our group name is "Green Software Development Munich"
  • The German GSF Groups have the Development within the name in contrast to most other GSF groups.
• Number of speakers: 1-3
• Event & Talk Titles
  • We usually have a topic for each meetup and talks covering aspect of the topic
  • Until now we also included the talk titles in the announcement visuals. Examples
  • Here we had topic and talk titles
  • Here we had group name + talk titles
  • In your template there is just one title and then the speaker(s). Maybe you can include Talk title placeholders? Or ist it to much text then?
• Event Location
  • We rotate the location between three organizing companies
  • To quickly show the onsite location for a concrete meetup, we had something like Munich@QAware in our visuals.
  • Maybe this is an alternative to providing the complete address in the image? People that want to check the exact address will find it on the meetup page or just google it anymway.

• Organizers:

  • Our Meetup is supported by the following companies and the GSF, would be great to have them on the graphics:

  • MaibornWolff
  • Reply
