  We are abstracting it slightly to estimate what AWS and Microsoft are currently stating regarding their carbon-free energy. We are aiming for a current estimate instead of relying on the previous year's data, as everyone is trying to make informed guesses at the moment See measuring-carbon-is-not-enough-unintended-consequences
