2 months ago Turns out IMeche is pretty lenient on enforcing the rules for Autonomous Demo.
- Cones will not placed during Autonomous Demo, therefore the car does not need to stay within cones (no perception capability needed)
- Still need to perform stationary steering at the start
- 10m distance not enforced for both acceleration and braking. The car only needs to roll forward for a few meters at low to moderate speed before stopping.
- 15kph (~4.2ms-1) not enforced, car can move at low and moderate speed.
Before the ADS-DV is allowed on the track, it is required to perform some routines to demonstrate the autonomous system is "in control"
