GitHub Pages? Somewhere where we can run a back-end if/when we need to?

rahul-ldn commented 11 years ago

I'm pretty certain GGE would be willing to host the finished product; if that's something people want to have happen, I can double-check with David.

I'd personally prefer that we keep this as part of C4DC rather than GGW/GGE. We might be able to host it as edu.codefordc.org, or something, too...

Sure, no worries, just an idea. I didn't know codefordc hosted its constituent projects.

Asking Matt about getting a subdomain. And if we deploy using Jekyll (see Issue #8 ), it looks like it'll be easy to redirect: https://help.github.com/articles/setting-up-a-custom-domain-with-pages

HarlanH commented 11 years ago

OK, we're live at http://harlanh.github.io/code-for-dc-edu/index.html ! I'll work with Matt on the subdomain thing, and then this'll be ready to close...

Why is Wilson HS at 7th & K NE? Data error, or some other problem?

Probably data errors in the geocoding of street addresses. I'll add an Anasa issue to QA locations -- there was at least one other error.
