Not useful because it supports normal keyboard commands like Ctrl+Backspace to clear commandBox and alt+Backspace to delete previous word.

Hi, understood that these shortcuts are available, however, at that point of time the team was unaware of this system wide shortcut.

Additionally, users who are familiar with the terminal would be more familiar with teh ctrl + u and ctrl + w shortcuts as such I would argue there is some value to adding this feature. Moreover, this is not really a documentation bug.
