For me, I'm getting #050505 as the --primary-text variable when using messenger on Firefox with this add-on.
This is problematic in dark mode, where messages received are shown with a dark gray background - an even darker text color makes it hard to read on certain monitors.
I have tried loading this add-on in a new window (with no other add-ons enabled) and the issue persists. When I remove the add-on, the default (bright) facebook messenger theme shows instead (as expected).
