Only for Finland videos don't work, international videos work #6

I'm using hirsivajas fork of the Plugin, but I suspect the same problem is with the original plugin. Some of the videos play and some don't. I haven't been able to reason what is the reason for this or what is the reason a specific video plays and some other video from same category and type does not play. I extracted to parts from kodi debug log. One from succesfull play and one from failed attempt. I'm using OpenELEC release: Nvidia_Legacy.x86_64-6.0.3

I think this is the same issue #5 that I created. It seems that the cookie is related to location detection. Some videos can only be played from Finland and some are available world wide. This is just a guess though. Could you give names of some programs that I could test this with?

Yes, I think the problem is in the geolocation, because the working video was Galaxi Play which Yle has produced, and I think is available worldwide, but the non functioning video was either Shetland (murders) episode or Agatha Christies Poirot episode, which Yle presumably has bought only finnish rights. I remember also getting Kulttuuri Coctail working.

Tried with the latest version of Plugin 2.0.0 and latest version of OE Millhouse build 05-Mar-2016 (OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0-Milhouse-20160305021244-#0304-g0e31f7f.tar), but still videos for distribution only in Finland for example Poirot won't play. International videos seem to work all. Below parts of the log. I doubt it is the ffmpeg, because it is the latest in this test.

I also tried Poirot and it doesn't work. This is Kodi 15.2 on Windows 10.

I made a fix that should solve the issue.

To explain it a little, the url that we get with the YLE API points to a master.m3u8 playlist file. This file contains links to other playlist files. The difference between the files is the display resolution that they provide. It seems that the links to the resolution specific files do not contain the needed cookie information (the part starting with hdnea in your logs). On Kodi 14 the cookie is preserved and added to the url when the request for the specific resolution playlist is made. On Kodi 15 the cookie is not preserved.

The fix/hack I made does not give Kodi the url to the master.m3u8, but instead to a specific resolution playlist with the cookie added to the end. The downside in this is that the resolution is fixed and no automatic adjustments are done based on the connection speed and reliability.

I think there are two alternatives to how to fix this properly. Kodi (or OpenElec) team should change the functionality back to what it was on Kodi 14 or Yle should include the cookie information in the links provided in the master.m3u8 file. I haven't studied the HLS protocol specification so I don't know which approach is the correct one (or are both?). Does anyone know?
