Dashcam, Mobile app
The Team could think about implementing some presets for better image quality. The drivers are told to get almost no dash into the picture, and to tilt the camera upwards to achieve that. But since the camera runs on auto-exposure and seems to measure right in the middle of the picture, the sky is exposed correctly but the street very underexposed. A preset that lets the camera expose the street (maybe if it could check for exposure in the lower half of the screen) and overexpose the sky (since we are not interested in it) would help to improve the quality of the pictures on cloudy days a lot.
The recording to a usb-device for reviewing after an accident is also not very practical since people have to look through a lot of data to find the situation needed and manually delete obsolete files on a regular basis. Maybe it's possible to implement a cache-recording on some sorts, which is a minute or two long, that can be saved with the press of a button and is deleted otherwise ?
Just some ideas 😉
