Plugin not running on import

The plugin simply doesn't run on import, apparently. Running the following:

beet -vv import "/mnt/user/downloads/permaseed/temp/[1983] Rebel Yell (2010 Audio Fidelity AFZ 036)/"

and I get a log listing what the rest of my plugins are doing and what beets is doing, but nothing with "extrafiles" and nothing gets imported.

Running beets on the linuxserver docker container. I used pip3 install --user beets-extrafiles as root in the container for installation as instructed.

Just an update, it still happens when I install using pip3 install beets-extrafiles (where the rest of my plugins are)

also, the pip install commands install the version of extrafiles that still has beets.mediafile instead of mediafile...

Closing this issue because it was that extrafiles doesn't work with hardlinks, only movie or copy.
