Steps to reproduce: I've tried splitting/desynthing a garish crown to get some lizard molt, but recipe won"t work. It should exist, as stated in bgwiki https://www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/Lizard_Molt. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the desynth recipe you are referring to hasn't been added here, as shown on the Item Crafting listing for the Lizard Molt itself. The only recipe that is coded here to obtain the Lizard Molt from is to desynth a Lizard Mantle and hope you proc a HQ2 or HQ3 desynth of it, as the listing shows:

I'll leave this ticket open for Immo and Heep to refer to but the decision is up to them whether or not to add the recipe you were referring to.
