Please add JSDocs #485

there are no docs on methods. please add some descriptions.

This was requested on the community forum way back in 2021 (see link). I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon, or at all at this point, so I'd just access the API endpoints using axios. That said, the forum post I liked does have some helpful suggestions.
