Enter detailed description of the feature you are requesting

I sent this suggestion through the "submit feedback" option, but also included
here in case it helps.

Could the numeric keypad moves to the right half?. In this way, the other half
could be used as a trackpad without having to disable the keyboard magic to
avoid accidentally pressing any key.

It could also be very useful to define a grid of customizable keys as keyboard
shortcuts, which can only be activated if they are assigned a function, so you
can have available all the trackpad as alternative keyboard (7x5 keys) or just
a band, for example. Several alternative keyboards could be stored depending on
the program being used at any time.

Thank you very much for your program. It is great and very helpful to me.

As it is now, the program makes sure to center the keyboard in the trackpad
area if it's too narrow. But I guess putting it on a side would be better,
indeed. Having an option to choose which side would be even better, I'll look
into doing that. For the time being, you can use a custom layout. I'll post a
modification of the regular numpad, to make it right-aligned (I'll attach it
here in a short while and explain how to install it)

Please open a separate issue/suggestion for that. I like the idea, but it
needs some brainstorming, let's keep one thing in each ticket. Please
elaborate, on what an assignable "function" could be.

Here's the promised file. To install it, do as follows:

- Locate MagicKeyboard in the Applications folder
- Ctrl-click on it and choose "Show Package Contents"
- Browse to the Contents/Resources folder
- Put the provided files in the Definitions and Layouts folders
- (re)start MagicKeyboard and choose the new layout from the application menu

Please note that the changes will be lost after any application upgrade.
Coming soon a way to avoid the user's files/mods being overwritten.

Thank you very much for responding and for sending the modification of the
numpad so fast. Works great!.

I will open another suggestion for the subject of customizable buttons, as you
have indicated.

I'm still a little upset by the news of the death of Jobs. We will miss him
deeply.

A modification of the attached file will be part of the 3.0.0 release. An
option will be given to choose the horizontal alignment.

In reference to comment #4: Indeed, we'll miss him. He changed a lot of
things, including (part) of the life of many Mac users. He'll be remembered,
and he'll 'stay alive' in the memories of many people.
