Infinite Loading After Saving Annotation #6586

Describe the bug

After saving/submitting an annotation there is an infinite spinning wheel until I refresh the page. This probably happens 90% of the time.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Submit an annotation
  2. Notice sometimes the spinning wheel never disappears

Expected behavior

The next item to annotate to show up.

I just tried to use Firefox 132.0 (aarch64) and didn't run into this issue a single time after labeling about 1000 items. So it looks like it's specific to Safari.

Hello,

We recommend to use Chrome or Firefox. Yes, this has been issue with safari.

Hello, I had the same problem and I can confirm that it comes from Safari.
