Empty Build Stage passed successfully however during next stage (Deploy to Bluemix) I'm receiving following error (I'm using W3ID for logging in to Bluemix)

Preparing to start the job... Preparing the build artifacts... Target: https://api.ng.bluemix.net Creating service instance car_lease_blockchain in org abcdxyz@in.ibm.com / space dev as abcdxyz@in.ibm.com... FAILED Could not find plan with name ibm-blockchain-plan-5-prod

The bluemix service that this demo tries to use has been shut down.. this demo will be archived soon.

Thanks for the update @mrshah-at-ibm However, just FYI - IBM Developerwork course is referencing this demo only as a part of its curriculum (https://developer.ibm.com/courses/all/blockchain-essentials/?course=begin#8271), and in current stage, may not be completed without this.

I have the same issue with @vsgithub using Developerwork Course... @mrshah-at-ibm Is there any replacement for this demo?

mrshah-at-ibm commented 7 years ago

Thanks @vsgithub for the issue, we will fix the Developerwork Course ASAP.

@vsgithub @dvarounis you can use the experimental branch of https://github.com/IBM-Blockchain/marbles

I too have the same issue. The course can't be completed with out this demo completed.

Seems like IBM ignored early adaptors who were basing there POC on this demo. There is really no way to deploy this anymore to bluemix? Alternatively does anyone have this running locally with version 1.0? Are there any plans to update this demo to version 1?

Same problem for me. Just marking the course complete in order to avoid multiple reminders.
