Medical devices can present their technical description using SDC, but providing information regarding their HMI is not standardized yet. Such information is relevant when controlling devices or displaying device information. It is also relevant during the design phase, risk management and usability evaluations since a UI Profile contains requirements arising from manufacturers' risk analysis.

We propose using a machine-readable user interface description an SDC Provider could provide to any SDC Consumer who wants to use their System Function Contributions.
