For beta:

Post Beta Need to:

  1. review with Arnold, Gus and beta feedback to see what fields/features should go into production 4.0.
  2. need to support range field types (min-max values)
  3. look into supporting "Show More" and "Show Less" Metadata in the block
  4. look into supporting controlled vocabulary keywords using UAT (preferred SKOS format) http://astrothesaurus.org/dendrogram/ but this wont be released until the summer.
  5. look into supporting tabular astronomy dataset (ingest metadata from tabular files similar to SciDrive) suggested by Bob Hanisch

Need to change the block name to "Astronomy and Astrophysics" instead of just Astrophysics

Removing parent-child compound fields (except for range fields) since they are meant to be handled separately rather than as a compound. Getting a final pre-beta review from Gus before committing to git.

May need to create a new ticket for changes to Astro metadata block but confirmed with Gus that this is ready for beta. See Issue #3900 and Issue #3910
