[BUG] Lag in animation while swiping #241

Describe the bug When I view a image in full screen and then swipe left/right to view previous or next image, the switching between images animation is not smooth I'm attaching a screen recording of gallery vs g photos

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open any image
  2. Swipe left/right to go to previous/next image

Expected behavior The switching animation should be smooth, as shown in gphotos screen recording
