I'm hesitant to bump the stats of >100 characters further, as they are quite nuts already. That said, new spells, I like. Maybe some cross-class spells could be earned (although there would have to be a strict way of defining this interaction, so classes don't just blend together).

Quests would be nice, but we'll have to see what they do when they get implemented, first.

Achievements of course. Achievements for everything! :D

Hm. Or maybe each class has its own prestige quest? To advance in your class, you have to do a quest, which would vary per class of course. It could be one of the many methods of performing an ascension (ie, do 1 class prestige, do 4 class prestige, etc).

I think we would need #565 before we can make regions have levels tied to them. Additionally, there would need to be a lot of balance before we can declare content difficult or easy.

So, there would be a new event that groups a bunch of level 100+ players and forces them to fight against difficult bosses?

Sure, we could use the trinket item slot here. I intend to make them only drop from bosses, rarely, as well.

That could be one way of doing it. I'm not sure if you've seen or played the Scion Tabletop Game, but one of the interesting things that happens over time with your character, as they grow stronger and stronger, is that they end up not being able to stay on earth for long periods of time. They become so powerful that fate wraps around them, and causes bad events to happen around them that they have to fix. So, in later levels, you end up spending a lot of time on other planes of existence so you don't disrupt humanity.

I kind of see post 100 being like this sometimes, what with vector battles and crazy items. So, the deities have already been messing with us as our characters level up, so maybe something where level 100+ characters are summoned by the deities for assistance, and not always just because Sarda feels like it.

I think many of the post 100 features will just be easier to analyze once some of the other systems have come out. It's kind of difficult coming up with something that all levels shouldn't have access to really, or ideas attached to other unimplemented features.

The only other idea I have comes from the old days of Star Wars Galaxies Jedi class. Perhaps a class that requires post-100 or post-ascension?

That is to say, a whole new class beyond the prestige class ideas.

I've heard of it, but I've never heard that aspect of it. It's a very interesting aspect, which you're right, it actually kinda seems like that right now, where >100 players are just like that. As such, I'm in favor of this. It's actually already implemented, I think what I might do is just make it so at >100, you're more likely to party with a deity, if that works. Unless you had some ideas for further depth.

Yes, it's very difficult to design a lot of post 100 content when we're missing out on a lot of other things. I may skip over the "big idea" for now, though I will possibly implement some smaller aspects before doing so (like the deity combat adjustment).

I don't want to specifically tie a class requirement to level, but I think it's ok to have it implied (ie, to get to X zone, you have to be level Y). I think those will come after Norkos is entirely complete, and maybe in that elemental plane region we've been talking about, we could put some new class along with other treasure and bosses. Or maybe with that we could go the nethack route and make it so you have to ascend through the plane of fire, plane of water, etc; and you end up in the astral plane. Given that people had already gone through the four elemental planes, this could be an astral plane with some of the things described above. I would want to make it so there's a maximum of 1 "ascended" class per "world map" so as not to clutter one individual world too much. Of course, getting to that class would require an extensive amount of work.
