Publish InnerSource "Golden Pitch"

@Danese has some standard InnerSource presentations. Ask here is to:

• get them from her, and save them to the Marketing GDrive.
• ask the rest of the community for examples and also save to GDrive.

This will be a resource for anyone asked to present on InnerSource.

We've seen a number of GDrive based presentations and a number of non-GDrive ones. We'd probably need to import the latter. Questions is how well this will work. Also, when we take presentations from others we should ensure that we get a reasonable license attached to them allowing use & change in a defined way. The Creative Commons ones would likely be good.

Once we've got that done, reaching out to our community might help to and we could end up with a shared set of training materials like the Apache training incubator project.

Also, this could be a good way to have good starter material to improve upon.

Adding notes on this topic taken during the Marketing call on the 8th of June 2021:

• golden pitches = pre-written decks for commons members to use for internal and public purposes: InnerSource 101, etc.
• how do share slides? Slideshare, google docs, et al. - propagate everywhere. Also distribute recordings (youtube, et al) making use of transcription
• multi-lingual - translating decks into other languages
• images licensed fair use - can be modified, but need to be mindful of licensing terms of images

Decision made at the Marketing meeting on the 22nd of June to break up this issue into smaller issues.

in the Marketing meeting on the 12th of August 2021 we have taken the decision of creating standard InnerSource Commons Decks inspired by the slides contributed by the community rather than share the slides contributed by others.

Some first ideas of what the Golden Pitch Slides should include:

• What is InnerSource
• Why should companies InnerSource
• Who is currently doing InnerSource (with quotes)
• How to InnerSource

These should be included in Slide decks for 5min, 15min and 30min presentations.

Supporting information for Golden Pitch

• provide a guide to constructing a Golden Pitch with the slides provided based on the time and scope of the presentation
• links to videos of people giving the presentation or parts of the presentation.

The short version of this should be a Learning Path segment as well. We should record someone giving all of these and post the recording somewhere as well as the slides for whomever wants to re-give it.
