After messing around with the resource pack, I've realized that there's better animation with simple eyes if you were to make the sclera of 2x1, 2x2, 2x3, etc. the same color as the skin. It allows the pupils to move around the face within the bounds of the "transparent" sclera, unlike the simple eyes just staying in one place and only blinking. This could allow space on the skin texture to add a 2x2 derp eye for "Grian" eyes, or anything of the like.
