Yes, this is ugly. I requested where the user can specify it themselfs in the 
csp 
file instead.  Most dont want their development database names in the 
DataContext 
object.  

What is support ticket 106343 ?  Is that on this site or somewhere else?

Hi, this should be better.  However, the templates still take a best guess as 
to the
name.  This can be changed too, edit the dbml file and change the Class name to 
what
you want. 

<Database Name="Tracker" ... Class="TrackerDataContext">
