Not Available To Trade #542

Hey Guys, I am back making bots.

So, I made one. The account is premium, steam is premiu, steamguard is alright.

When I log in thru steam in it manualy, i can recieve and send trades and do trading as well. Though when i run it thru the bot and send it a trade, it says XYZ is not available to trade. more info will be shown to XYZ if he invites you to trade.. What to do?

SteamGuard... the new 7 days thing.

FrozenHaxor, the steamguard is allright. As I said, I can trade when I am logged into the account through the normal steam client. its only while I use the steambot

That's not how it works, SteamBot is a "different machine" than your standard client. When you enter the SteamGuard code, there is a 7 day trade ban cooldown for a new machine.

shit.. thats bad.. so i need to wait 7 days before im able to trade using the steambot?

I have never tried, but it might be possible to copy (and rename) the sentry files from your steam client to your bot (as long as it's on the same machine).

where are the steam sentry files located?

in your steam root directory. they are called ssfn followed by some number.

IKR @FrozenHaxor btw dude, Can I add you on steam? I like your whole thingy of bots and im doing that too. I made a group. ive made hatbank, todbank and keybank bots.. im developing more..
