BEAUTI does not start #744

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launching BEAUTI

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to have the starting window(s). Instead, in the Windows XP task 
monitor, the javaw.exe process appears, then disappears and all returns silent.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
BEAST 2.1.3, on Windows XP, with Java 7 installed properly

Please provide any additional information below.
Beast, AppStore, Densitree, LogCombiner and TreAnnotator, all start correctly
