7 years ago I'm not sure what the problem might be for you. I have not messed around with this miner or slimcoin in general for over a year as I am no longer interested in PoW/PoB that does not involve some form of security deposit and slashing conditions for mining on multiple histories.
The original compilation instructions I used can be found here. Obviously substitute in the different repository path.
the binary you posted is stable whereas compiling it myself I get a wide range of hashrate. for instance binary =77 kh/s my compile/build=10-140 kh/s I used same configure flag
