[2.0.18] categories_default_items.php deprecated #389

Hi guys, as far as I understand the file categories_default_items.php has been removed from Joomla 4.x and 5.x

So, the file .../html/layouts/joomla/content/categories_default_items.php should be deleted as deprecated

Am I right ? Do you agree ?

@mi-prakash Please, Can you confirm?

@joomleb We are still providing Joomla 3 support to our users as many of them still haven't converted to the latest Joomla releases. So for now it will stay. If nothing else you can close the issue, Thank you

...given the many "alternatives" workarounds HU is accumulating due to twitter, font awesome, bootstrap, sp page builder etc. compatibilities, Wouldn't it be appropriate to think about a new Helix Ultimate release that raises the minimum requirements to Joomla 5 (or Joomla 4)?

@joomleb its up to the management to decide as more then 50% users are still on j3 lets see what happens.

@mi-prakash I understand. Anyway soon a Joomla 5 native version will be "a must" here, so, meanwhile JoomShaper team is taking decisions about, Why not to create a "J5" "Milestone" here and assign this ticket to it ? ...And / or a "3.x" tag label (or something like that) ?

(I'm trying to keep cleaned and ordered this work space thinking it is a good thing for all us)
